William ( Bill )'s Story
After HS. I joined the Air Force----spent 4 years on active duty---all stateside. While in the Air Force, got married, and learned to fly during my off duty hours. After discharge, I worked for a small fixed base operator as a flight instructor and charter pilot----more fun than money though, and after my first child was born I had to go and get a real job.
The "real job" worked out okay and I retired from it two months ago after 36 1/2 years---------
I've continued to fly for all of those years and am still a licensed flight instructor.
I'm now married to my 2nd wife and have two grown children, by my first wife, and 3 grandchildren.
Until now, I've not had much time to cruise around on the computer-------so now that I've got some time, thought I'd see if there is anyone out there who remembers me.
For now, I'm not going to post any pictures-----for two reasons:
1. I still look a lot like me
2. I've not yet figured out how to do that------but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

12 years since I posted this and thought it’s probably time to update it. Between my wife and I, we now have 7 grandchildren. The oldest is 21 and will be graduating from college next year. The youngest is a one year old, and I probably won’t live long enough to see her graduate from college..
Since retiring, we have traveled quite a lot. Not only in the U.S. but also in Europe. We’ve been on 6 cruises and, were it not for the current pandemic, would have made another one this year. Three of them were riverboat cruises and 3 big ship cruises. Four were in Europe. Riverboat are our favorite.
I have developed a pretty serious vision problem and, even though I am still a licensed flight instructor, I can no longer fly. However, I can still hunt (use a scope )deer and turkey.
We try to stay busy and were it not for this COVID thing, I wouldn’t have bothered updating this——-yes, I”m definitely bored.
To any of my classmates who may read this, feel free to correspond, I would love to hear how folks are doing.
